Pig Congress 2021 returns
On 26 and 27 October 2021, SEGES Danish Pig Research Centre is holding its annual pig congress in Herning, Denmark.
The event is the largest annual meeting of Danish pig production professionals and provides an opportunity for the industry to obtain the latest insight into pig meat production.
How do we achieve zinc-free pig production? Which projects are focused on maintaining Denmark’s position as one of the world’s leading countries for sustainable pig production, how do we ensure a continually high piglet survival rate? What is the current economic situation as far as the EU and the UK are concerned? These questions and more will be answered at this year’s 2021 Pig Congress.
Presentation on future proofing pig farms – Danish pig production and much more....
Over the two-day conference, there will also be a presentation on the latest findings into future proofing Danish farms and Danish pig production. This requires constant development if Denmark is to continue to supply quality products and be among the world’s most efficient pig producing countries – as far as both production and the climate are concerned.
The event is aimed at Danish pig producers, veterinarians and consultants within the pig meat industry. In recent years, the Congress has also attracted interest from outside Denmark. This year, a number of representatives from the trade press in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK are expected to attend.
