The international scientific community is currently developing sustainable solutions on many fronts. In Denmark, these include:
- New protein sources.
- Improved feed conversion
- New technologies and systems for the optimum use of biomass and for promoting the circular economy
- Reduction of CO2 emissions and water consumption
- Reducing environmental footprint
- By-products and residual products as input into new products so that nothing is wasted for the benefit of the environment and the bottom line
