The international scientific community is currently developing sustainable solutions on many fronts. In Denmark, these include:

  • New protein sources.
  • Improved feed conversion  
  • New technologies and systems for the optimum use of biomass and for promoting the circular economy 
  • Reduction of CO2 emissions and water consumption
  • Reducing environmental footprint 
  • By-products and residual products as input into new products so that nothing is wasted for the benefit of the environment and the bottom line
