Anuga 2025 will soon open in Cologne. This year, the main theme for the world’s most important food and beverage fair is Sustainable Growth. Anuga will also serve as a platform to highlight the industry’s commitment to - and its solutions for - addressing environmental and climate-related matters. Denmark has already made significant progress in the areas of sustainability and climate protection. Last summer, the so-called Tripartite Agreement for a Green Transition was concluded, which will provide important impetus for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The agreement was reached by representatives from the Danish government, the Danish agricultural and food sector, including the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, and nature and industry bodies. The aim of the Tripartite agreement is to reduce the carbon footprint, improve the environment and provide more space for nature. The Danish pig sector is an active participant in this endeavour.
