Danish Agriculture & Food Council: New CEO
The Danish Agriculture & Food Council is reorganising its Executive Board and Chairmanship and has appointed a new CEO.
Morten Boje Hviid is the new CEO. Flemming Nør-Pedersen is promoted to Vice CEO while Camilla Brehm Suhr joins the Executive Board.
Morten Boje Hviid has been a member of the Danish Agriculture & Food Council’s Executive Board since 2020 with responsibility for policy, sustainability and communication. That the choice of new CEO has fallen on the Executive Director who heads up the organisation’s political development is no coincidence:
"From now on, there should be alignment between the CEO and the political strategist. Morten’s ability to set direction, build a team and deliver political results for our members has been decisive. This has been the case ever since he joined the organisation. We have positioned ourselves as a responsible organisation that seeks influence in both favourable and difficult circumstances and Morten has an excellent political compass for what is important to our industry in the long term. At the same time, Morten has a keen eye for the value our members bring to our society, so I know he is the right person to lead our team of talented employees,” says Søren Søndergaard, Chairman of the Danish Agriculture & Food Council
