Good harvest helps to ensure livestock feed self-sufficiency
It’s been a good grain harvest for Denmark this year.

This will help ensure substantial local feed self-sufficiency for pigs and cows in the upcoming autumn, winter and spring. In general, Danish farmers have harvested large yields per hectare and the grain is of a high quality. Due to the sunny and dry weather, farmers have been harvesting for several weeks. This means that there has been little need to use energy to dry the grain after harvesting.
