What does sustainability mean in terms of Danish agriculture and more specifically, pig production?
In recent years, sustainability has come increasingly to the fore among producers and consumers. In line with the UN’s global goals and the Danish food sector’s target for a climate-neutral food industry by 2050, agriculture and food production is under constant development. Pig producers, in particular, constantly strive for responsible and sustainable production to ensure a balance between resources and consumption.
